Furuta Models

I was looking into getting the 1701-E from Furuta, but wondered what the quality is like. Looking at the pictures it looks nice, but whats it like in person? Before I get one, Id like to know if its molded well, is it painted, and can is it a pushfit model (e.g snap together) or is glue required?

I have the Furuta Enterprise-E and i have to say, the quality and the detail is really good. The model is like 5-something inches long and it comes in several pieces. It's a fast snap together kit. But yeah, i have one. I have a lot of Furuta Star Trek models and the detail is amazing on them.

It sounds like they furuta models would almost be about the same size as the Johnny Lightening models. Is that about right?

About the same size yeah. Some models are bigger, some are smaller. The Prometheus Furuta is over 6" long and bigger than most of the JL ships.
