What Is your favorite funny scene from Star Trek?
(With One Runner up.)
1. Odo practicing his umpire moves in his office. (DS9)
2.The Doctor being Sarcastic Toward Arrogant aliens (VOY)
"The Captain. is coming here. now. If you want to talk to her. you can have a seat."
Dukat - Pain-in-the-a$$.... and Kira laughing about it. You better watch out on what you sit down.
The Doctor singing La Donna é Mobile while Tuvok suffered from Pon Farr.
Quark's head on Kira's body in "Meridian".
Data as Ira Graves in the TNG episode, The Schizoid Man.
"I can safely say, that to know him, was to love him. And to love him, was to know him...
Those who knew him, loved him, while those who did not know him, loved him from afar."
Quark as one of Dax's female hosts in the Ds9 episode Facets.
"The entity who owns this body wishes to speak!"
Avery Brooks is pretty hilarious in this episode too as Joran.
"My strength is within you. You don't have to be afraid of it."
"Then let me show you how to use it. Lower the force field, Jadzia. Lower it, and you will never have to be afraid of anything ever again."
- Joran Dax (via Sisko) and Jadzia
When Data tries something new from Frocus 3, is revolted by it, but gladly repeats the experience.
The scene itself isn't funny, but I always get a kick out of how Scotty's accent and the word "Vulcan" conspire to give us a glimpse of how Tarantino Trek might sound...
Troi sitting up in sickbay after being bitten by Worf in 'Genesis', clearly weirdly overly shivering and oddly begging for water, and Crusher turning her head with the hilarious lovebite, to examine her.
Followed closely by Troi entering the transporter room, ridiculously aged, rolling around on the floor with Picard and stabbing him, in 'Man of the People'.
Runner up: Janeway fighting the non-existent Housekeeper in Sickbay in 'Persistence of Vision'.
Bride of Chaotica
"Yes ma'am, his army of evil"
Winner: Tribbles falling on Kirk
Runner Up (unintentional): Kirk carrying around 'that' rock on "What Are Little Girls Made Of"
OMG! I totally forgot about that. Runner up? Are you kidding me? \thread
Nog and Rom scurrying through jeffries tubes only to accidentally crawl into the Sisko's office. Sisko's understated reaction to it just makes things funnier, as if this kind of thing happens all the time.
It might not be the funniest, but it was so unexpected that it still makes me laugh out loud. From “The Gamesters of Triskelion”:
Spock leaning over and whispering is funny enough, but when Nimoy stage-whispers “Ensign, warp seven”, it brings the whole bit home.
Totally this one, yes!!!
Also: Oh, I'll come to Quark, and trust me..... I will have fun.....
That entire scene still cracks me up.
Well for me it’s contagion whenever the ship she would keep going back up and down I as do the weapon systems and Riker say this
"If it should become necessary to fight, could you arrange to find me some rocks to throw at them?"
Here are honorable mentions. in what we leave behind when Kira, garak, damar, and others laugh about the fact they can’t even get inside dominion headquarters
Can’t find any quotes but trust me it’s funny.
And then finally when captain Sisko and Company crashes on to a planet in a stolen dominion ship O’Brien and Sisko says this
"I don't believe it!"
"I tore my pants!"
"You... You tore your pants?"
"Yeah, I tore my pants. I guess... I guess I'm really in trouble now!"
Leers and Rom’s Thinly veiled masturbation conversation:
Leeta: what’s wrong Rom?
Rom: ear infection. Too much oomachs.
Leeway: oh, whose the lucky girl?
Rom: no girl, just me.
When the Ferengi assassin shot Holo-Moogie to put her out of her misery when they couldn't rescue her from the Dominion.
Picard's error of calling Barclay Broccoli is a good one!
Scott explaining to Kirk how the fight got started on K-7.
