Funniest moments?

Here's a thread to post any moments that make you chuckle.

I recently watched All Good Things... and a tiny moment that made me laugh out loud was future!Picard ordering a tea from Data's English assistant - "Tea? Earl Grey, hot." "Course it's hot, what d'you want in it?" "Nothing!" Just the way Stewart played a cranky old bickering man killed me.

The funniest episode overall must be Hollow Pursuits - there are so many moments that never fail to bring a smile to my face. Holo-Geordi and Riker getting their asses kicked by Barclay, the swashbuckling trio of Picard, Data and Geordi, Wesley being threatened with a spanking, "Number One", the Goddess of Empathy and Troi/Riker's reaction - there's so much comedy gold in that episode.

I also love the quick escalation of the bar fight in Ten Forward in Sarek - O'Brien begins arguing with a crewmate over a table, Geordi comes over to mediate and offers to get everyone a drink. We cut to Riker and Worf walking to the scene talking about "heightened tensions" on the ship. They open the doors to Ten Forward and suddenly there are tables, chairs, bodies flying in a full-scale brawl between every person in the bar. I half expected to see Wesley drop kicking someone from a table while Guinan decks a random guy from behind with a steel chair.

What are some moments, big or small, that make you laugh?

In that episode where Q loses his powers. Once he has them restored, as his gift to Riker he makes two women appear and Riker says, "I don't need your fantasy women!" and Q sends them to Worf and Worf(Dorn?) does not seem annoyed.

The funniest moments are not always those by design, for me, throughout TNG. A lot of the humour just falls flat. A famous example being Guinan's "you're a droid and I'm a 'noid" skit with Data, in Ten Forward. In the movie FIRST CONTACT, the Borg are onboard Enterprise D, in the next room from Data. So, they lift the door up, a crack, and then yank the standing Data down to the floor and slide him under, with his arms up, over his head, with him barely having enough time to shout out, "... Captain!" it always gets a laugh out of me, it's so cartoonish, it even has the same pacing as a cartoon, everything happens very rapidly. They don't mean it to be funny, but it's like, ".... WTF?!"

- Riker imitating Picard during the "Captain Picard Day" skit

- The ending of "Menage a Troi"

- The "Worf smash!" scene in the Robin Hood episode

- The 'surprise party' opening of "Parallels"

- I can't remember which episode this was, but Data was trying to tell a joke and he ended it with "I said kiddlies...diddle-I?" Nobody laughs, but then later on Data (not joking) says something about "Includaling the kiddlies" and everyone cracks up.

- MR. TRICORDER! :D

MY HAIR DOES NOT REQUIRE TRIMMING YOU LUNKHEAD.

Just watched the episode "Data's Day" and that part always made me laugh. Because lunkhead is really one of the worst insults I've ever heard.

Misogynistic though it can be argued to be, the saving humorous grace of True Q, he turns Bev into a barking Irish Setter.

Data's Ode to Spot in Schisms is pretty hilarious throughout, but the moment Troi nudges Riker awake is the height of hilarity, as he randomly claps. I'm laughing at the word denouement, & I didn't even know wth that word meant. lol

Are you talking about the end of an episode where Data was trying to make jokes. But at the end, they were about to end "viewer-chat" with someone when Wesley said "Say good bye, Data". Data replied by "Good bye, Data" and inquired whether that was funny or not, with everybody chuckling at/with him.

Looked it up. Yep, it was the ending of the fan-favorite The Outrageous Okona

Can't think of one original line that made me laug/chuckle that stands out.

But I do know Worf's "I am not a merry man". Which is :)

Perhaps because more meme?

When Picard starts making objections about Data calling Lal a child. He then makes some convoluted, confusing remarks which don't make much sense. I am guessing that this is meant to show that he is upset but the result is kinda funny.

No, that's not the joke I meant.

Code of Honor. The one highlight of that episode I think...

This may not be word for word, but you get the idea...

Zefram Cochrane: Hey Deena.
Troi: DeAnna!
Zefram: "Now this, this is the good stuff."
*Zefram takes a drink*
Zefram: "OK, that wasn't so good..."
*Throws the bottle over his shoulder*

Worf saying "We call it Beta 8" when the casino guy asks them what they call the planet they're on in The Royale always makes me laugh out loud.

Riker's reactions to the holographic "forest goddess Troi" in Hollow Pursuits.
