I don't know how much I like what they did with Walter's character. We know he's ruthless enough to take Peter from the AU but premeditated murder? I don't know.

But another great episode.

More like "spontaneously planned saving the world from a murderous madman," I'd say.

I didn't get that impression. I thought he killed him to end this guy's reign of terror. And for using his (Walter's) father's experiments for bad instead of good. But...who knows? Maybe....
The Nazi's little tirade as he died kind of implied there was something more going on there.

I wonder if they can use this weapon to target only shapeshifters when the war comes. More likely it'll be completely forgotten. Or Massive Dynamic keeps all this stuff in a warehouse with the Ark of the Covenant.

He actually said "traitor" in English, so, yeah. :)
65 years in USA and his English was still bad:lol:
The only thing this Nazi guy lacked was a swastika armband. Everything else about him already screamed "I'm a Nazi war criminal" ...

If it's used to target those from the other world, then Peter's at risk, isn't he?

And yeah, Walter hoping that Olivia would call him "Dad" is sweet.

I think how the guy stayed alive may come up again later in the season. The guy looked like he was probably an assistant or something, maybe they experimented on him, or maybe it was widespread and there's a secret nazi society out there that he was working for.

Ageless Nazi guy is obviously related to Richard Alpert from "Lost". It was a crossover. And in the next season of "Lost", we will see our heroes being transported from 1977 to 1943. ;)

A friend said he thinks the German is a time traveler. I don't see any evidence of this, do you? He also thinks Walter somehow grew Peter from granddad's DNA. I asked him what show he's been watching...

Just so I get this straight... is this the first explanation for the cryptic placecards when the show goes to commercial, the sea horse? Have they ever done it before? And the young Nazi guy was really from the 1930s and immortal, right?
