Unseen killers target a wedding with a toxin that targets specific individuals, and Walter discovers that the case may be tied to a branch on the Bishop family tree.

Sounds intriguing. Unfortunately, I won't be around for the commentary tonight, as I'm still without a laptop (damn virus!) If I feel motivated, I may use the wife's desktop in the other room on commercial breaks.

I am afraid I wont be able to spam the Fringe boards tonight. I however will watch the episode though.

I'll be watching AND be here! :D

Sounds like a good episode...and I've read some juicy spoilers for some upcoming eps :techman:

Trippy, do those spoilers extend past next week's cliffhanger? Care to PM me with a tidbit or two?

;)

Not sure how I feel about this episode so far ... it hasn't exactly grabbed my undivided attention (but at least I'm getting my grades done).

The beginning was kinda tacky...wedding holocaust, I know the show is dark, but damn.

Also, the wedding video thing went nowhere? THey had a blurry image that led to nothing. Huh?

The book seller who happened to keep records, with addresses.

Walter goes hard core and shit. But we never learn how the Nazi kept himself alive and young for 60+ years.

So it was kinda stilted in the whole "Nazis are the ulitmate evil" bit, and the obligatory WW2 connections the Bishop have.

I liked this one a lot. Although the wedding scene reminded me a little too much of the street scene in Marathon Man. I liked the stuff between Walter and Peter...their relationship just keeps getting more and more interesting. I did find it just a little too hard to believe that Walter could walk away from committing a murder without even getting his hand slapped!!!

I could count that as a self-defense killing. Or more accurately, killing to save others. But yeah, most law enforcement organizations would at least have an inquest if a civilian contractor killed a bad guy during an investigation.

I actually liked this one... Nazi's are always good to use for the bad guys ;) I wonder if we'll still see them somehow being used in tv shows like 30/40 years in the future too?

I think how the guy stayed alive may come up again later in the season. The guy looked like he was probably an assistant or something, maybe they experimented on him, or maybe it was widespread and there's a secret nazi society out there that he was working for.

Oh and CSI was a repeat last night which led to Fringe getting it's highest rating of the year. I guess it shows how a fair portion of Fringe's fan-base also watching CSI and probably records or watches Fringe online later, but viewed it first-run with CSI on repeat.

Damn. Walter went a bit rouge there. Although, I did turn to hubby right before that scene and say, "You know, they could turn the virus around and use it AGAINST him."

And then he did. And how!

I thought it was kind of cute how Walter keeps pushing Peter and Olivia together.

I still want to see more about Astrid, though. I like her.

Walter calling Astrid "Ostrich" was the best.

You know, i thought that was what i heard him say but i thought, "nah...he didn't say that!"

<snip>

I still want to see more about Astrid, though. I like her.

And i cannot stand that character!

Did it seem like Walter killed the Nazi to cover something up?

I didn't get that impression. I thought he killed him to end this guy's reign of terror. And for using his (Walter's) father's experiments for bad instead of good. But...who knows? Maybe....

You know, when the parallel universe finally sends in their troops to invade, they should have a ton of unique weapons to fight them back with after all these standalone episodes.
