Fringe Friday "Death" promo

Wow, i've only seen the first half of Season 1 so far. Some of the stuff in that clip looks frigging awesome!

Awesome promo. And classic Fringe. "Strawberry-flavored death!"

I hope Fox comes through and hangs onto the show. I really enjoy it.

With SGU & Caprica moved (and killed), there won't be as much scifi competition... And if Fringe gets a 4th season, Smallville will be gone by then, too.

</hopeless optimism>

SGU dead right after we learn the very interesting mission of Destiny.

FRINGE will follow suit :( GOD DAM IT :scream:

SGU has a point now? It only took 1.5 seasons to get there, I wonder why it got canceled?!

Not wanting to derail the thread but I'll make one post on the subject here no matter how low the ratings were on friday nights, they would of been good enough to get a 3rd season if it wasn't for the tuesday move.

The matter of quality aside, SG-1 or SG-A at their peak would of crashed & burn't in such a time slot on SYFY.

I'm hoping for just ONE more season. Doesn't matter if it's a short one. Just enough time -- and really, Fringe would require only like one or two episodes -- to give a satisfactory conclusion.

That's a really clever ad. C'mon Fox...all I ask for is just one more season...just one little season more. please!

Funny promo. It will become a classic when Fringe gets cancelled at the end of the year. :guffaw:

Still, why not re-animate Friday night with one of their truly big shows like American idol or Glee?

We all know the answer to that question.

I love Fringe. I hope it stays around for a couple more years.

You are dreaming.

Eureka and Warehouse 13 both had Christmas special, both of which were shown on a Tuesday, both of them got TWICE as many viewers as Caprica and SGU. Then shortly after that SGU was canceled. I think Syfy waited to prove SGU isn't gonig well.

They aired a one off special over christmas where loads of people are at home, watching TV against a network night with above average repeats. If those shows ran week in week out on that slot they would see big erosion but of course remain higher than SGU's ratings.

My point is when your struggling for ratings in the first place don't move it to a worser night just like FOX is doing with Fringe.

Here is a pretty cool fan-made trailer of Fringe opening credits done in a Firefly style, as an amusing nod to the next episode being titled "Firefly."

Also Eureka and Warehouse 13 have higher ratings than SGU. With show with a bigger fanbase more people are going to tune in on a Tuesday than a smaler fanbase will. And you put these two shows on every Tuesday during the new network season and they'd die too like you said.
