Fringe ad break buffers

AntonyF

Official Tahmoh Taster
Rear Admiral
Hi all,

I've just started on Fringe, and have almost gone through season one. I think the ad break buffers are a code.

So I would like to have a go at solving them... but it's hard to search for the images online, without discovering what they mean. I think I saw something very spoilery in my attempt to find them.

So to anyone that's seen the eps or knows the puzzle, and isn't affected by spoilers, are you able to tell me if there's a page out there that will allow me to see and analyse them without spoilers?

Thanks

Hi!
I'm also on season one...late like you, and I did read that yes indeed there's a code to those lights, but I didn't even bother checking on the net about them....I think it's on a season 1 DVD that they tell you they are an alphabet.

Maybe this is more important, but did you notice that the weird bald guy from episode 5 (I think it's episode 5) actually appears in every episode even if only for a second or two?

Yes, each glyph in the bumpers represents a letter.
If you follow the Fringe episode discussions here, someone always decodes them as they watch.

What have they done so far????

I just started this show and decided not to "invest" my self too much in it after what Lost did.
I'm just enjoying the ride so to speak.

Yay! More Fringe viewers!

I looked, and all I found were collections already decoded. So I un-decoded them for you. Here are the glyphs without spoilers:

Thanks for that! So I assume that's not any kind of order, just the images?

Here's the code:

Don't scroll past the first screen - they're decoded by episode below that.

Actually it looked spoilery from the start, I saw graphics with letters by them.

I guess I just want the images in order, without what they are... because I need to understand the context to try and decode them.

I know I could fire up the Blu-rays, but that'd be quite time consuming. :D

Oops, I mixed them up on purpose. I have re-upped them in order, again with no labels. Same link:

Why don't you just look at a picture with the letters? You're obviously not interested in breaking the code yourself if you ask for all variations of the glyphs in order and then ask how they're ordered (left to right btw).
Now you have all 26 glyphs in order, what's left for you to figure out?

So is the order left to right, or top to bottom? I don't recall them being grouped like that...
I'm still getting used to the new layout at Photobucket... They're left to right, and top row to bottom row. I numbered them to keep them in order. Hover your cursor over the images to see filenames: 1, 2, 3...

Sorry! :D Thanks for this, I appreciate it. And I don't want to waste too much of your time.
No problem. :)

I wanted them in order from the episodes. Because clearly they do unfold in a certain order in the episodes. Otherwise they'd just be random... and I'm assuming they are.

I was hoping a webite would have those, without causing hassle.
