While Olivia and a recently-recovered Peter investigate a mysterious signal coming from a forest, Walter uses LSD to try and recall his memories of his plan to defeat the Observers.

Is anyone else besides me laughing already at the prospect of seeing Walter do drugs again?

And I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate that the mysterious signals from the forest have something to do with that radio from the pocket universe... And that the infamous 'numbers stations' are connected to it. I may be wrong about that last part, but I just can't shake the feeling.

With a plan like that it's win-win whether it works or not.

The way I see it, Walter's little 'experiment' should provide the two of us with quite a bit of material to work with.

Re: Fringe 5x09 - "Black Blotter" (Commentary, Discussion & Spoilers!

With the opening of 'The Hobbit' today, I wonder how many of our regular group will be onhand tonight. Hopefully it won't just be myself and our Glyph-Translator!

:)

I can't guarantee being around during airtime, but I am rather excited that we'll get to see Walter live through a drug trip. The only thing that disappointed me about Fringe's renewal was no nineteenth episode. ;)

Re: Fringe 5x09 - "Black Blotter" (Commentary, Discussion & Spoilers!

True there's no 19th episode but tonight's the 9th episode and it's taking the place of the traditional 19th episode in that it's along the lines of Brown Betty, LD and Letters of Transit.

My city is throwing a free holiday party starting at 7 pm and it's not far from home. I expect to leave the party early to get back in time for the commentary.

Re: Fringe 5x09 - "Black Blotter" (Commentary, Discussion & Spoilers!

I'm off to see The Hobbit tonight so I'll watch Fringe over the weekend.

Have fun everyone! :bolian:

Hey, probably no hobbits and the like for me until X-mas. :)

Same here. Too many things to do before vacation starts on the 21st (assuming the world doesn't end a week from now).

I'm sure when Walter drops acid he's sure to pick it right back up.

Yup.

Walter's tripping, all right.
