I missed the first few minutes...what happened with Mac?

Other than that, really great episode!

Excellent episode once again. This show has not disappointed this season.

Loved the stuff with Jason and Tim in NYC and the fact that the show shot on location. Seriously, they could do an entire show with Street and Tim visiting a new city every week and it would be entertaining. Nice exit for Street too.

Matt should still be the starting QB but the WR storyline is intriguing. I do seem to recall him catching a TD pass during the first season of FNL. Poor Coach. Not only does he have a wife who is a candidate to represent the current housing crisis but he has the McCoys seeping into every facet of his life.

I have no sympathy for Tyra, who proved what a loser she truly was in this episode. Great future you have there, Tyra. Rodeo groupie.

above average.

i dont care for the tyra stuff. i am tired of her bouncing back and forth from trying to get out to being stuck.

i wish there was more of a sendoff for jason... i wanted a goodbye from herc at least. he's seemed a better friend the last 3 seasons than riggins. but i did like riggins and street wandering NY. and i really liked the last scene of street and his GF and their kid.

eric and tami really hit home. my wife and i were looking at homes and i felt/feel a lot like eric. the finances really worry me.

matt's arc is interesting. i liked the dinner scene. the look on eric's face when julie told matt to be quite was great.

Herc is the new friend, but Riggins is the lifelong best friend.

Watched the full episode on DVR this mornin' - excellent epiosde for the series, probably the best this season.

And I really enjoyed the Coach/Matt stuff at dinner, and Coach askin' for aspirin after throwin' a football ten times.

Just keep watching, this season just keeps getting better - everything is now in place for what is going to be one great ride through the rest of the season.

(please let there be another.. please, please, please)

Yeah, I thought that was him.

Re: Friday Night Lights: "New York, New York" 3/6 - Grading & Discussi

it was weird seeing the Dharma security guys being played by guys from a couple of my other favorite shows on another favorite show. Herc from FNL, and the guy who played the Utz potato chip spokesman from the 2nd season of Mad Men.

Good send off for Street and Riggins has proved that he is a good guy underneath all of his mischief. I hope he gets into a college.

I am done with Tyra. Her storyline as the "victim" is starting to drag. Supposedly this dude will have a darkside, but I really dont care what he does to her because I dont care about her character no more.

Is it me of does Landry look like a retarded Matt Damon? Everytime I see him I think of Matt Damon with Downs Syndrome.
