Watched it this afternoon, courtesy of DVR.

Gave it an Above Average.

I remember back in high school, part of my "job" as the team manager / trainer was to keep the parents out of the locker room after a game.

Does the paint in his hair mean Coach lent a helping hand to Street?

I have no idea what happened this season since I don't have DirecTV, but the McCoy storyline is going right down Todd Marinovich road.

Above Average. i am enjoying the Jason Street storyline. He's trying so hard to be a good father. Him singing to his kid was a great scene.

the rest of the episode had some really good stuff too. though most of the stuff i liked had nothing to do with JD. i loved matt's grandma getting mad at coach taylor. i am glad that matt and julie are back together (though i wonder who was watching baby gracie when julie left). landry and his band were funny (it was nice to see kester (?) again after getting beat up in season 1).

i wish more people watched this show. but it doesnt matter, it's still great.

Another Excellent this season. The way they put Matt and Julie back together is great, and Street's story is really touching so far. J.D. gets more interesting every week, and I dislike his father more and more . Get out of the locker room!

One thing I wish they'd done a few episodes ago though is bring on Street a bit sooner so he could be there for Smash's sendoff. One of my favorite scenes in the entire series was from near the end of 1st season when Street, Riggins, Smash, and Matt are goofing around in the middle of the night talking about their various problems, and in the morning Street and Riggins reconcile. It would've been cool to recall that night here.
