I don't know if anyone else has Freesat but if anyone does you may be interested to know BBC iPlayer has had a beta release on Humax set top boxes. To access it you need your box connected to your router and apparently it works via the red button.

From Join Freesat

Though not officially announced, we have it from a very reliable source that BBC/Freesat will release the BBC iPlayer code to the general public from early next week.
This will give those with a Humax Freesat HD or Humax Freesat+ receiver the opportunity to test out the service over the Christmas period enjoying all there is to offer through the festive season from the BBC.
The BBC iPlayer setup video can be found here
All other Freesat HD and Freesat+ makes/models will be able to enjoy BBC iPlayer some time in the new year.

I have been watching this freesat thing closely, when they come done in price a bit to about £40 i will get one, it will be nice to get access to those few HD channels without have to pay for them as with the cable and sat at present.

Freeview HD launches between now and 2012 depending on where you are, it's going to have BBC HD, ITV HD and 4Hd first off, with Five HD later, and will include an ethernet connection for iPlayer, etc. but no boxes have been released yet, though some are supposed to be out next spring.
Right now it seems Freesat are having a hard time with space thanks to Sky holding on to transponders they don't really need on the satellite aimed mainly at the UK. Fingers crossed more will come soon but right now it's just BBC HD and the occasional show on ITV HD.
