Just posted some Free plans for download of the tri-dimensional chess board. The plans are specifically created for those who have the means to use Laser cutting services.
If you dont have the means, you can signup at the Ponoko website where you can have them cut and ship it to you for a fee. (Personal Factory concept gotta like it.)
The chess board is designed to match 3 of the most popular board versions. Uses .118 birch or acrylic material. Roughly 11 in. wide x 18 in. deep x 16 in. tall.
