Not really sure why people have been hating on Franklin & Bash.

It's character based, the cases are superfluous.

Plus it makes me chuckle.

I'll watch the season. (especially since it's a summer series)

I haven't seen the show, but it and Bakula's Men of a Certain Age are in trouble ratings-wise, even for TNT. MOACA is one of the best shows on TV, so of course no one is watching it!

Not really sure why people have been hating on Franklin & Bash.

The first episode was horrible; disjoined, disorienting, and poorly paced. The Indian "nerd" is also the exact opposite of comic relief.

That's why. If I wasn't a masochist, I never would have given the second episode a shot.

I didn't find the first episode disjointed or disorienting. Course I watch a lot of TV.

Pacing, I tend to not even think about unless it's really, really, really, really, slow and to be honest, for summer fluff, I was fine.

Since the show is more of a comedy/drama hybrid, I just took the antics as a part of the formula, but I can see why you didn't like him. (I his female counterpart myself.)

I guess I just tend to focus on the parts I liked and let all the rest fall away, and thus far I enjoy it enough to keep watching and see where it goes.

(Caveat: I timeshift everything I watch, so it's not like this is appointment TV for me or anything.)

no really big guest stars this week. however it is franklin vs bash with franklin exgirl friend stiring the pot. this has been a great show.

chong from chech and chong guest stared this week as a judge.

That's not the amusing part. The amusing part is that he was playing a heavily anti-marijuana judge.

Looks like Franklin & Bash will live to party again next summer.

A second season of 10 episodes has just been green lighted.

I've been enjoying this show for what it is. Looking forward to seeing how things develop character wise.
