Fragments of Dying Romulus

Hi, I've been working on a new scene to put one of my new ships in. It shows a small Federation vessel looking on as the planet Romulus fragments from the supernova. I might modify it further, but this is where I'm at right now with it.

The Sequoia is a VERY good looking little ship and this is a beautiful scene (not for the poor Romulans, though...)

To my eyes, that chunk of Romulus looks very much like the upper part of Earth Spacedock. And if I squint, I can almost convince myself that Sequoia is returning to a decorated & lit port during a holiday (Hallowe'en, maybe? Could those glowing lumps of magma really be strings of pumpkins?) rather than flying into a disaster zone :)

Yeah if you flip the image horizontally the composition becomes eerily similar to the scene in Star Trek III where the damaged Enterprise approaches Spacedock.

There's no one stopping you from having the little beauty approach spacedock or another spacestation or a rendezvous with a ship.
And I agree with @Cyfa, it is probably one of the best looking smal(ler) ships I know. :mallory:

Thankyou!
I have several ideas for these little ships, and I might just do a ship rendezvous too. It's not like I'll be lacking in free time over the next however many months...

Beautiful! I'd love to sit back on that couch in the back, and watch the stars streak away...
