Found old Star Trek board game

We're doing some major tossing of junk here and I found this old Star Trek board game based on the first movie. Here's a link to what I'm talking about:

Before I toss it in the dumpster I wanted to find out if it's worth anything. I tried looking on line but the above link is all I could find. Does anyone know if this is a collector's item, or just some old silly game left over from my childhood? :)

Up to you I guess. I just searched eBay and saw selling prices ranging from $10 to $75. Might be worth auctioning or just keeping as a collectors item. Besides, once the movie launches next year, value could go up. :)

Thanks, I hadn't thought of checking ebay. That's quite a price range! So the answer to my question is "maybe".

Thing is, I've been saving it as a "collector's item"; I just blew about 20 years worth of dust off of it! We're desperately trying to declutter and I really want to get rid of stuff I'll never use again. To me it's not worth the hassle of auctioning it if it's only worth $10.

Looks like a nice collectable you have there. I'd suggest trying to sell it on ebay, else give it away to someone (or charity shop it) - its a shame to put it in the bin.

^ You're right, it would be a shame. OK, anybody want it? It's yours for the price of shipping. I'm in the U.S.

OH yeah! Got one of those myself. Pull it out every so once in a while - really fun game too. You have 6 rotate-able triangular-shaped boards that you can use to change the outcome of each game. There are mission cards that you have to fulfill while trying to stop your opponent from doing the same. It's like the CCG but with a board and miniatures but not as complex.
