Found my Concordance Artwork...

Captain Robert April

Vice Admiral
Admiral
While clearing out as much as I could from my storage unit, before being locked out (don't ask), I found the notebook with all of the artwork I submitted for the '95 edition of the Concordance. Of the thirty-odd pieces, Bjo approved all but maybe two or three, and the pinhead publishers only printed one.

And now I can share 'em all with youse guys. :D

As soon as I can get the scans resized to something more feasible, I'll post 'em. For now, here's what I've got up thus far...

Awesome art of that Ship :) :techman:

Wow, holy crap you have some skills. I love to daydream and I try to doodle sometimes but I only wish I had this kind of talent.

So ... the Orion Pirate ship ... is it the one that looks like an asteroid? If so, I found it.

I like how kick/badass the phasers feel like in the Ultimate Computer shot. I'm used to the modern Trek peashooter phasers.

Oddly enough, the UC battle scene was one that Bjo didn't pick. I think it might've had something to do with someone else submitting something similar (and IIRC, the other one wasn't quite so graphic about the Excalibur getting the bejeezus kicked out of it).

Pretty awesome pics....:techman:

And no, I couldn't find the Orion (or 'Or-e-on' ship, as Kirk pronounces it in the animated series) in the pic above.

Turn in your Concordances to page 207, and you'll see the only piece of mine to make it past the pinhead publishers...

Kinda lost something in the shrinkage, doncha think?

On a vaguely related note, here's something I worked up around the same time, but for a different project, not sure what anymore (maybe for Bjo's newsletter, maybe for submission to Starlog, who the hell knows anymore...).
