Goto 1.43 of the trailer (works best with 1080p) - notice how the blue bit of the timeship doesn't rotate - like it's a free standing ball and is.. that spock wearing a cape? I think you can see his left hand as well.

I'm no good with the photoshop - if you run that bit of the trailer you can see the ship move but not the figure in the middle.

No, it's Darth Vader. JJ meant all that about Star Wars literally. It's a fusion of the two Universes. Some other frames show an obvious light saber.
