This is really worth checking out. Absent the obligatory Trek trappings of the other Hidden Frontier productions I found it a good deal more engaging - the backstory and set-up unfolds in the first episode in a very direct, entertaining way with a minimum of exposition and just about no technobabble, which is no small trick in setting up an original "universe."
Performances are generally good, the sound work is really nice, and the green screen seems to have improved a lot. Makeup, costuming, the design of the practical aspects of the sets are very inventive.
And Nick Cook is in it, which immediately elevates any fan production.
