First Contact, April 5th

In New Zealand they've been playing all the Trek movies every Sunday at midday on TV2.

Yesterday they played First Contact. It wasn't until the end of the movie that I realised it was April 5th - first contact day!

I know it wasn't planned. Very good timing though.

I highly doubt it. They seldom plan things weeks ahead, and I think one screening got bumped a week due to another programme pre-empting it.

That's pretty cool. I didn't even think about the date. With nothing on TV last night except for the CMA's, I should have put in FC.
