Fine Motor Control for Robotic Hand

I thought this was cool. It's a video of a robotic hand that is pretty dexterous, allowing it to closely mimic what a human hand can do.

Very interesting, though I couldn't help but be a little creeped out by watching it and wondering if at some point in the future a hand similar to it will be around my neck choking me to death.

Wow, that's some serious dexterity!

In the case of the dribbling ball and the phone toss 'n catch, it would be interesting to know if those routines were all hard coded, or reliant on real time input on the location of the object.
