No word on a Region 1 release yet but 2/entertain (Via blogtor who) has confirmed the release for the UK. This is the season that of course had Matt Smith's Doctor reunited with Sarah and Jo Grant, and is sadly Elisabeth Sladen's final full season of the show. The set also includes as a special tribute to Elizabeth Sladen, the entire Pyramid of Mars serial from original Doctor Who. "Pyramids" is my personal favorite Fourth Doctor/Sarah adventure, but I think this will be the same print of the Pyramids DVD (Without the extra features probably), similar to how the Star Trek TOS set had those tribble episodes from DS9 and TAS.

OK, I didn't think it could be, because I recall they don't like to air Dr. Who and SJA at the same time, and since Doctor Who is on for the next six weeks, that would only leave 3 weeks before the DVDs come out.
Doctor Who and Torchwood are going to air in the same week for 3 weeks, so no reason Doctor Who & SJA cant do the same.
That said the same is happening with Merlin as well, dont know what the BBC is thinking airing both Merlin & Doctor Who on the same night.
6 more episodes (3 stories), so its really a half series, but other than saying it should air 2011, im not srue when its due to air.

DWM has said Series 5 will air in October. What we don't know if it'll air over 6 weeks, one per, or if they plan to air both chapters of a story in the same week like they've done in past seasons. I can't imagine we'll have to wait a year like we normally do for the DVD/Blu-ray; more likely they'll release it around the anniversary of Sladen's death next spring.
As for Series 4 on North American DVD, I can't imagine it being delayed too much since they're synching up the UK and US releases, but I haven't heard anything. Mind you, BBC Video has been kind of weird when it comes to DVD releases (or lack thereof) of certain shows that aren't Doctor Who. There's been no sign - I don't think on either side of the Atlantic - of Series 3 of Merlin on DVD, and North American releases of Hustle ended after Series 4. On the other hand, Series 6 Part 2 and Miracle Day are expected to be out within days of broadcast.
