FINAL POLL: The Challenge Coin

It's two ... two ... two mints in one!

Well, as you can see, folks dropped some serious coin here this month, because B.J. brought a serious challenge: the Challenge Coin. A long tradition in the here-and-now, he proposed the tradition would continue into the next century and beyond (although, without pockets, one has to wonder where the Starfleet officers will keep them! ).

Very hard choice. Starscape's is incredibly well rendered. And I love the detail on the coin's edge. But I just love the idea of Shaw's coin. Having all the captain's names is a thing of beauty. And I love that the arc of the planetoid beyond continues between the obverse and reverse side's of the coin. Very nice.

Wow! Thanks everyone for a great contest. I can hardly believe I won considering how great the other entries were.

Let me consult with Ptrope on this and see what we can come up with. This was not only my first win, but my first entry too, so I'm trying to get up to speed on this stuff.
