Well, the white flag has flown and we're on the last lap of this race. The cars are painted and on the track...now it's time to see who wins!

May the best man (or Klingon) win!

B.J. and his #13 Klingon House of Martok Dodge

BK613 and his #47 Wee Bairns Dodge

Klaus and his Microsoft/Borg Collective Ford

Ptrope and his #7 Chateau Picard Dodge

Rattrap and his #43 Starfleet by Petty Dodge

Glad to see that this is a mostly-Mopar race :). Although "Fusion" is definitely in line with Star Trek :bolian:. It's fun to pick out all the little details and nods on everyone's cars - this would be an interesting-looking field!

I voted for B.J. - I get a kick out of the detailing of the body 'armor.'

I know nothing about NASCAR and this is my first wander through the Trek Art forum, so I know nothing about it either :)

But I liked BJ's Klingon cars, so I voted for them.

My vote goes to Ptrope. I love that blend of Trek and real world!

I voted for the gentleman above me, B.J. I love the hull paneling, the Klingon script and the color scheme. It really does look like a car the Klingon High Command would enter into a race. Awesome job by everyone this month, I was really happy and impressed with the outcome.

Voted for BJ.

Damn I wish I'd had the time to make something, I really liked the idea. I saved the software anyway, might tinker with it in the future.

Congratulations, B.J., for hitting the finish line first! :D Fine piece of driving, there! Looks like the armor didn't slow you down at all ;).

Here ya go :)

Thanks for the win, guys! Sorry I haven't posted sooner, but I'm in the hospital with a sick daughter (posting from my phone). I'll get a new challenge up soon.

No problem, B.J. - take care of the important stuff!

Flux Capacitor, those look great! :bolian:

anyone having problems saving the large versions of the first car pics?

when i do i see them squished when i open the files

No idea what to tell you on that - they come up fine for me. Try right-clicking on the thumbnail and choose "Save link as ..." (or however it's written in IE or a non-Firefox browswer ;)). Then try opening the image locally.

Those are awesome FC. I wasn't sure what ever rendering software that created them would allow the manipulation.

Anybody taking bets on how long it takes me to Photoshop the Zhang Heng onto that track?

I actually just imported the paint scheme files into the game that those templates were made for, set the field to include only those 5 cars and set them off in a race. The game as a great replay function, and I took screen shots during the race.

kaisernathan, I'm really not sure why you're having that problem. What are you using to view the images?
