ESTIMATES FROM BOXOFFICEGURU
1. Up - $68.2 million
2. NATM2 - $25.5 million
3. DMTH - $16.6 million
4. Terminator - $16.1 million
5. Star Trek - $12.8 million
6. A&D - $11.2 million
7. Dance Flick - $4.9 million
8. Wolverine - $3.9 million
9. GOGP - $1.9 million
10. Obsessed - $0.7 million
Estimated $3.6 million on Friday, $5.4 million on Saturday (+49%) and $3.8 million on Sunday (-28%). Again, these are estimates, but the daily percentage changes are pretty in-line with Trek's performance over previous weekends, so this number may not be far from the actual.
$12.8 million would be a reasonable 44% drop from Trek's 3-day total last weekend.
For comparisons sake, Batman Begins dropped 36% on its 4th weekend to $10 million and Iron Man dropped 36% to $20 million (but it was Memorial Day weekend).
Star Trek has now made $209.5 million, and has passed Superman Returns' $200 million and Batman Begins' $205 million final domestic totals. This would put it at #81 on the all-time domestic list, unadjusted. The global total increased to $101 million, pushing the worldwide total at $311 million.
