Here are the five episodes getting the most votes in the last poll. In this poll, you can select three. A week from now, the three winners will be in a final poll that you'll get one vote in which to select the all time best episode of TOS.

I'm rather sad that neither of the pilots made it to this round, but I'm not suprised either. What really makes Spider sad though is Devil In The Dark didn't make it. But, I'm sure a lot of you feel the same about some of these fine episodes. It's tough to pick when you are faced with nothing but quality shows.

Only if you subscribe to the notion that all the shows in the poll are "quality" shows. My take on this one is Mirror, Mirror is just over the top hammy camp, COTEOF is maudlin and Amok Time exists just so that people will say "Wow...Vulcans only f*** every seven years??"

Amok Time is really the odd man out here. We could play Sesame Street's Which of these ones is not like the other? Which of these doesn't belong? and Amok Time would win hands down.

For some reason The Doomsday Machine has never really appealed to me. I think it's Decker. Windom takes him just a hair too far over-the-top for my taste.

Therefore I'll choose a poignant love story, a game of wits and Spock with a goatee.
