Hey all, I've been in contact with the Grand Poohbah... he's been having some problems this month and hasn't been able to get to the poll, so I'm going to do it for him. Please post your entries in this thread and I'll get it going!
My entry is the USS Baton Rouge prototype from the Star Trek Spaceflight Chronology (image at the top), the original artist is of course Rick Sternbach (image at the bottom).
Do you mean the dorsal and ventral views? They are done, but not shown. I treated this as one sheet from a collection of blueprints in the same vein as the Star Trek TMP Blueprints, presumably done at around the same time, hence the crayon drawing, tape, and paper degradation.
Mine is the one with the "SEAN" proudly emblazoned on it. The original image I worked from is the one that Rick Sternbach created for the Baton Rouge class in the Star Trek Spaceflight Chronology.
Basically, yes. No worries. Masao posted that image from Rick Sternbach on TrekBBS ages ago, and it's the most complete version I could find to reference from, so I went with it.
The line art was created in Adobe Illustrator (which I've been using since version 4). The background paper image and the crayon art (which is art I created when I was a little kid for a friend) were added in and composited with the line art in Adobe PhotoShop.
Wow I thought this poll would never get posted. I created a new page from Franz Joseph's "Star Fleet Technical Manual" reimagining Matt Jefferies' Leif Erickson as a Klingon Heavy Destroyer. The original art from the AMT model kit of the Leif Erickson: And an example of a page from the 1975 Star Fleet Technical Manual:
