I know what you’re thinking, and you’re right. I managed to work out a plum deal for myself. Guest house on a sprawling estate, a permanent job that requires me to do little or no actual work while i moonlight as a private investigator, friends who will help me out any time I ask without me lifting a finger to reciprocate, and the best part is use of the boss’s Ferarri GTS. Of course I have to get past Higgins and his dogs, but the best things in life should come as a result of some effort, right?

The hit crime drama created by Donald P. Bellasario and Glen A. Larson and starring Tom Selleck as Thomas Magnum, a Vietnam veteran turned private investigator living on the estate of a wealthy author. Part of the deal for his employment by the the author, Robbin Masters, is that he has permission to use Masters’ Ferarri 308GTS. Successive versions of cars in the series were used over the course of the show’s run.

About as awesome as it gets. Who cares if Thomas's head stuck out the top, or what happened when it rained? About the only good thing about the original opening was the revving of the V-8 at the beginning. I was more into German fantasy cars at the time, but I made an exception for this one. And to hell with Netflix for taking Magnum P.I. off streaming.
