Nice! The first image looks better though. The second just looks like one of those "paintbrush" effects from photoshop was applied to the entire image. I would suggest getting some "snowflakes" close to the camera.

The first one has the snow effect too, just not as heavy.

The snow effect was done in photoshop in both cases but not with a brush (couldn't find it and realised afterwards I hadn't installed it! Doh!)

I just thought the first effect was slightly too light considering the needs of the immediate rescue situation.

Did try flakes close to the camera but they really didn't look right and with the white bg, tended to blur the pic too much. All taken on board though because I was also working on another pic too!

I agree. The first one looks better. And yeah, snowflakes close to the camera would be nice.
