Feb challenge: Camelot's Betryal.

An interesting view and take of the lower decks perspective. All the more interesting for seeing an important glimpse of Charlie Cross' past. Mistral might hate you for the late entry but it is a neat entry and the rest of us don't mind. A great story and it gave us more of Charlie Cross. Yeah!

Nice to see Cross again.

The story had some interesting twists on turns, some of which I didn't quite expect. It is also extremely frustrating as you don't reveal what it was exactly that has led us to this point. Hopefully future stories will allow us a more detailed glimpse into Cross' past.

I liked the story but I admit I was no fan of the ending. The selective amnesia felt a tad convenient. Usually people who suffer from amnesia are miserable at not being able to remember their past. It may have been partly a good thing that he forgot his past but he wouldn't know that. And what about his family?

Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

What CeJay said.

Yeah I can totally see what people mean about the amnesia...I guess I just couldn't figure another way to resolve the issues other than have Charlie kill him (or allow him to kill himself) but neither option sat right with the character of Charlie. As for his family...well he'd made up his mind to end his life anyway, all Charlie did was give hima (sort of) second chance.
