Favourite Who pics - Share yours

I've just noticed that I have over 500 pics in my Who folder. I thought I'd share some of my favourites with you.

Share some of your fav Who pics with us, and tell us why they are your favourites.

This is a favoruite of mine because it has two of my favourite characters, and because it looks like a shot of the two characters, rather than the actors, out and about.

I enjoy any images of the Doctor and a companion showing affection. I haven't actually seen that many McCoy stories but I'm still fond of this shot.

I'm a big fan of 9 (who knew! ) and Rose. What I like about this shot
is their feet. It's a casual closeness that warms a shipper's heart!

I like sassy Tegan, and when I was younger I loved her outfit. Here she is
smiling - something we don't get much of from my favourite cabin crew.

Jack and 9 en-snog. I never thought I'd see the Doctor kissing anyone, let alone another guy! Bring it on.

I love 4 and Romana II. I enjoy this picture for so many reasons - it's quirky; it's the Doctor "off duty" and it's so British - the weather looks lousy but they're still on the beach. With a robot dog.

Here are some more of mine:

When I think of Sarah Jane's Doctor, I think of 4 not 3, but this shot reminds me that he was fond of her when he was still the dandy.

Every time I see this picture, I wonder what the in-universe reason is for her dressing up in the Doctor's togs.

I know what fandom thinks of Mel, and I think she was recently voted "the worst thing in sci fi", but th picture's not about her. It's about the Doctor, with a breard. I find him strangely hot.

I think this is a great pic. It just seems symbolic of Rose's affection for the Doctor and the life she leads with him.

^ The in-universe reason Romana II is dressed like The Doctor is all part of her regeneration scene. The actress had played a character in the previous episode/season. So, when Romana decided she liked the look, she adopted her appearance through regeneration (implying that females or Time Lords other than The Doctor have control over their regenerative outcome). The Doctor tries to convince her that she can't go around looking like someone else. She "tries on" a few more bodies, all of which he dismisses as flawed in some aspect. Finally, she comes back out again dressed in a duplicate of his outfit (with her face hidden by the hat) and he praises her choice (showcasing the humor of the 4th Doctor's ego). He then takes the hat off to find that she's back to her first choice, after which he finally concedes, but not before he tells her to "get rid of those ridiculous clothes..."


And, I looove the Rose pic. That's beautiful.

Thanks for that, The. I knew bits and pieces about Romana's regeneration, but I couldn't recall the details. I don't think I've seen any Romana episodes for years and years.

Delgado was THE Master.

The Doctor playing chess with K9. It's just cool. And the scene was funny too.

It's the Davros actor (not sure which one) on break, with his mask still on. No explanation needed.

Someone made this to add to the craziness that is the Blue Nacelles thread in the Trek XI forum. It's just plain awesome.
