Favourite Trek Couple

OK this may be a slightly trashy thread but I find it interesting!

Who's your favourite Trek couple? Whether it's married, one-time thing or just a fan invented couple.

My fave real pairing has to be Troi and Riker. Their wedding was just soooo cute. Also loved Jadzia and Worf. Also, not really a couple, but the Garak-Bashir flirting was just priceless ;)

Riker screwed everything in sight, got fat, got old, and then asked Deanna to marry him.

My favorite couple would have to be Sarek and Amanda. In Journey to Babel they seem to be a comfortable older couple, I perfer to think Amanda simply died of old age about a half century after Journey and Sarek was beside her side to the end.

:)

It's a tie for me:

Sarek & the Lady Amanda - They just exude elegance, and class.

Spock & Uhura (NuTrek) - Because it's a relationship that is fresh, new, between two characters that I respect, and I'd like to see where it goes. Also, I think it's cute when they argue.

I really love Sisko and Cassidy their entire relationship is so cute. Sarek and Amanda is also a fave.

Quark and Pel is another i really like its a shame that one was only for one episode i would have liked to see it develop further.

Wow, you're right, a lot of potential with this thread.

Sarek and Amanda will always be a good place to start. Here's one that was not presented on screen, but an intriguing possibility; Spock and Saavik.

Nothing trashy about it. We can only hope that there will still be couples and love stories in the future . . . .

I have high hopes for Spock/Uhura, but since that relationship is still a work-in-progress, let's go for:

1) Trip and T'Pol. One of the better chemistry experiments between Trek regulars. They had a nice, prickly sexual tension thing going.

2) Spock and Zarabeth. Just a one-shot, but I still bought that relationship, and that Spock genuinely lost a shot at something precious there. (Plus, I just reread Ann Crispin's "Yesterday" novels, so I have Zarabeth on the brain.)

3) Paris/Rain Robinson. I will go to my grave insisting that Paris had way more chemistry with Rain than he ever did with B'Elanna . . . .

Meh, I never got the love for the Riker/Troi bit. He just kept her on the backburner waiting while he slept with every alien of the week, and only married her once he got too old and fat for that to fly anymore. Must be nice to have her willing to all but wait like that.

I guess the relationship I liked the most was O'brien/Keiko. Sure they weren't the perfect couple by any measure, but it was fairly realistic. As much as they argued the makeup sex must've been good. ;)

I can't believe anyone said Spok/Uhura :barf:
It is also my least favorite aspect of nuTrek.

Spock/McCoy [TOS] is my favorite couple in all of Trek. While on the surface, it seems they cannot stand one another... in reality there is a love, also.

Sarek/Amanda is my other favorite Trek couple.

Riker/Troi and Paris/Torres are my favorites.

I wish Trip/T'Pol had realized its potential.

Oh, and yes I like Spock/Uhura just fine.

:techman:

I think Star Trek did romance so badly.

I can't actually believe that people like T'Pol/Trip. He was just using her for sex. Can't anyone see this but me?
Did I miss some episode where Trip actually seemed to have some feelings for her? He dropped her as soon as there was someone better around. Poor T'Pol.

Then there was Riker. keeping Troi on the backburner all those years. At least in the end he did the right thing.

Nothing wrong with the regular sort of relationships -Keiko/OBrien or Torres/Paris (if you can stand Paris) and Sisko/Cassidy.

The best were some of the one-offs IMO. Worf/K'Ehylr, Kirk/Keeler
