Favourite non-military aircraft?

I rather like flying Cape Air with their fun little Cessna 402s.

On the other hand, for a personal aircraft, I seriously want a Cessna 400. Although it'll be awhile yet before I even qualify for training on one.....plus the things cost half a million new.

The Concorde was truly a beautiful plane, here's another one:

Ain't she a beauty?

This is beautiful, I love airliners. All that was learned from the Comet and other lost aircraft is remembered through the modern design and state of the art safety systems of today's planes.

The graceful Dash 80 707 prototype.

My favorite, today's 777. 15 years of service and still not a single fatal accident. And I believe last year's BA engine failure crash remains as the sole aircraft loss.

And I even love the infamous DC-10, at least for its presence and displacement. It lives a marred reputation as host to many strange and unfortunate accidents.

Lockheed Constellation: A prettier propliner there has never been.

Agreed 100%. I've even flown on one.

I am jealous. I count myself lucky to have seen one flying at an airshow in the '80s. Firing up those four engines was a show all in itself!

Yeah. It was great. I was pretty young so I don't remember it much. But my dad had flown on one when he was a kid just before his parents died. So he found out there was going to be one at an airshow and they were giving rides so he just had to go.
