Favourite episode of Series 6 (First Half)

Well as the first half of the season is over, I think a poll is in order to determine what we think the best episode is.

Well, early days for this poll but I'm almost certain I can pick the winner now. Second choice would be the last five minutes of the final two eps of the first half.

Just have to see how the poll moves as the US catches up with the the UK, but It looks like one is taking an early lead.

I went for A Good Man Went to War but the opening 2 parter as one whole story or The Doctors Wife could easily get the nod as well. Apart from the pirates episode, the season has been good so far.

The Doctor's Wife, no question. It's the new "Blink" as far as I'm concerned and even after close scrutiny and watching it about five times it still holds up. I consider it tied with Blink as the best (and my favorite) episode of the revival era and either at or very near the top of the list of best Who stories ever. I'll be very surprised if any episode remaining in Series 6 tops it.

I tend to agree my favourite of the season thus far has been "The Doctor's Wife". I've found the rest of the season farily average.

The Impossible Astronaut would be my runner-up to the Gaiman episode. Most of the others have some great moments, though. A Good Man Goes To War would probably be third. Curse Of The Black Spot is easily the weakest in my view.

I voted Doctor's Wife, but wow, 78%.

I've liked everything though, just some better than others.

I think I preferred "the Doctors Wife" because it focused quite a bit on the characters.

[The Nth Doctor]

"The Doctor's Wife" without a doubt. Along with "Vincent and The Doctor," it's one of the best Smith/Moffat episodes.

Well I'll be the sole voice voting for "Day of the Moon". It wasn't a great episode, but I loved the concept of the Silence and how the ending tied into the iconic static from the Apollo message.
