Favourite ABBA song?

Everyone loves ABBA, whether you'll admit to it or not ;)
So simple question, your fave song/s?

So many classics to choose from, bubbling under in my Top 5 would be (in no particular order)
Waterloo
Mamma Mia
S.O.S.
Money, Money, Money

But my all time favourite would have to be Does Your Mother Know? Awesome song, and nice to have Bjorn doing the main vocals for a change

So over to you, favourite, top 5, top 10, whatever...

Not everyone. If I am listening to ABBA for maybe a half an hour, I get annoyed. I remember one time I went to go see the play Mamma Mia! and then we went out to dinner and the restaurant was playing music from the play. God, enough already.

Still, I think my favorite ABBA song is Mamma Mia!

I love ABBA, and I do admit it! My favorite is probably Waterloo, though SOS and Dancing Queen are up there as well. I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do (yes that's the real name) is also pretty good. I have a love/hate thing going on with Fernando. I listen to the song and think it's stupid, but then I can't get it out of my head or stop singing it!

Not everyone likes ABBA. In fact to me, picking a favorite ABBA song is roughly the equivalent of picking my favorite dental procedure.

But then, I'm not really a fan of pop music. I like rock...and I like it with an edge.

Waterloo
Money, Money, Money

These are my two favourites - esp Money, Money, Money.

This reminds me of a story - the week before the first ever National Lottery draw in the UK, I had a dream predicting the winning numbers. I was in a schoolroom, in a maths class, and suddenly these monks - in full monastery robes - came in to the classroom and started chanting the numbers, Gregorian style. All the students in class including me had to chant along with them. Then, after running through them a couple of times, the monks burst into a spirited rendition of Abba's Money, Money, Money and danced around the class.

I played the numbers in the lotto draw that week...

And won!

All of a tenner. :vulcan:

Mind you, I still play the very same numbers every single time since then.

If you change your mind
I'm the first in line
Honey I'm still free
Take a chance on me

That is my favorite as well. I have a soft spot for ABBA since my mother used to listen to them almost non stop when I was a child.

Another one of my favorites is Knowing Me, Knowing You.

The one they're singing when the catwalk over the stage collapses and removes them from the Earth?

Oh I love ABBA! There is nothing in the world better than riding a bicycle in a skirt, on a warm summer day, listening to ABBA on your iPod! My favorite is "Waterloo", which is undeniably brilliant, with "Mamma Mia" and "Fernando" coming in close seconds. I desperately want to see the musical Mamma Mia, as soon as possible. ABBA is all good memories: being a kid in the summertime, Klondike Bars, watching the drag show at the end of the Seattle Gay Pride parade from the shoulders of one of my mom's butch lesbian friends.

Fires up "Abba - Chiquitita.mp3" for thread soundtrack. Abba and Neil Diamond are my favorite musical guilty pleasures.

Not to worry I'll fire up Roger Daltry to clear the palette....

Having personally grown up in the 70's, I am trying to forget everything even remotely related to ABBA.

But if I had to pick one song, Information Society's version of Lay All Your Love On Me would have to be as close as I dared get, really.
