The Sovereign class beat the NX-class by a wide margin. Though some claims of voter fraud have been made, results are confirmed and the 22nd century is eliminated from the tournament!

This time we have Intrepid vs the Constitution! New school vs old school!

Remember this is a vote on which ship you like more for whatever reason. Not which one you think is faster, more fun, or stronger. Though if it's your favorite for those reasons, vote away. Have fun and keep the discussion friendly!

The poll will be open for 24 hours only, so vote early!

This was a hard choice for me, as they're two designs I like best in the franchise (the third is the Steamrunner). But I started with TOS, and more than any other ship to appear, it was also treated as its own character. Voyager is my favorite Sternbach design.

Wait a minute, we must be in a timeslip, isn't this Round 2?

Round 1 is the first preliminary bracket. The semi-finals would be round 2, and round 3 would be the finals.

Though being Voyager is involved, a timeslip isn't ruled out. ;)

Same. They are the two designs that convey a functional elegance.

Since the Connie wasn't the refit, though, I voted Intrepid.

Has to be the Constitution, esp. the refit version.

This is a very though choice but I voted for the Intrepid.
Too bad it's my last vote for this contest because i'm going on vacation.

Intrepid. The Constitution looks interesting too, though.

What a tough choice. I'm a big fan of both, but ultimately had to go with the Constitution.

Hands down Intrepid for me, controversial view I know, but the original constitution is my least favorite of all the Trek ships, just too spindly for me. The refit & 1701-A however are my joint number ones...

But the competition was Constitution Class vs Intrepid. The refit version as used in the movies is still a Constitution Class. So you could have voted for Constitution as the poll never specified TV Version. The picture means nothing it just an example.

I assumed the refit would appear in a separate part of the competition, as it's like a different ship effectively? They look totally different...

Good old fashioned Connie. She was at the forefront of Starfleet for over five decades, I doubt the Intrepid-Class would ever be able to boast that--even with her fanwank armour.
