In another one sided victory, the Constitution class readily triumphed over the Intrepid class in a 20-6 contest. This could be the first close contest as both ships have avid fans. Who will win in this show down? vs Remember this is a vote on which ship you like more for whatever reason. Not which one you think is faster, more fun, or stronger. Though if it's your favorite for those reasons, vote away. Have fun and keep the discussion friendly! The poll will be open for 24 hours only, so be sure to vote and feel free to discuss the two ships in the mean time!
Constitution Refit. I was never a fan of the Galaxy class due to its size, though it was certainly impressive in the opening titles when I went from a 19" to 27" TV and wired for stereo.
Easy choice for me. Connie refit is the best space ship design in all of cinematic sci-fi. The Galaxy is fat and ugly.
I love the Galaxy, (although not the four-footer in the image above) but this is no contest. Constitution refit is hard to beat.
This is definitely the hardest choice for me so far. The constitution refit is such a beautiful ship & probably my first memory of Star Trek. I remember watching "Encounter at Farpoint" as a 9 year old & been completely blown away by the Enterprise D. The TNG was the series I grew up with so I've gone for the Galaxy. However if the Galaxy is to be outvoted then the Refit is the ship I'd like to win the Tournament.
The BEST spaceship ever to appear on the bigscreen vs the gigantic warp paddle. I wonder which one I'll choose?
Hard choice. The Constitution refit is nice, but the Galaxy too. I'll just vote for the Galaxy class, simply because it has saucer separation.
As much as I like the Galaxy the Constitution refit is simply one of the most aesthetically pleasing ships in any fiction.
Constitution refit. She's my favorite ship from all sci-fi. 1701-E is second, because she reminds me of the refit style.
I was exposed to the Galaxy in the form of the Enterprise-D far too early as a child. Its image brings far too many fond memories. I have to vote for the Galaxy.
