I've been in my car a LOT lately and have gotten back into podcasts. They're also great for the gym and when I'm sitting somewhere eating lunch and don't want to be bothered. I'm interested in what other people have been listening to.

Here is what I follow:

Paranormal/Fringe Science (Disclaimer: I don't believe a lot of this stuff, but there are interesting stories)
Mysterious Universe
Expanded Perspectives
The Gralien Report
Astonishing Legends

Celebrity Interviews (Depending on the Guest)
The Nerdist
WTF with Marc Maron

Crime/Unsolved Mysteries
Sword and Scale
Criminal
Generation Why
Serial
Thinking Sideways

Random Other Podcasts
Caustic Soda
The X-Files Files

Let's see...

History podcasts:
The Memory Palace
BackStory with the American History Guys
Stuff You Missed in History Class

Others:
This American Life
Stuff Mom Never Told You
Stuff to Blow Your Mind
Serial (only season 1)

I will check out the ones you have listed under crime/unsolved mysteries. Those tend to intrigue me. I think my favorite right now is Memory Palace, as they are short (around 10 minutes) stories set to music about certain people/events in history. They are told like a poetic little story, usually from the perspective of a particular person from the past, rather than a recitation of facts.

I used to listen to more when I had more free time, such as TWiT, but over the years my listening habits have changed and I tend to listen less. But the one constant I've been listening to is Coverville. This guy has been doing it from his home studio ever since he started. The basic concept is: A podcast about covers, sometimes with a sprinkling of lesser known originals where the covers actually were the more famous tunes. He often does tribute episodes for specific artists, and in fact he just posted his David Bowie tribute:

Various shows from the Trek.fm Network, but non trek the highlights include:

Tatiana is Everyone: An Orphan Black Podcast
The Jonah Keri Podcast (Which just started today as part of the Nerdist network)
Marek vs. Wyshynski (Hockey podcast)
The Fantasy Footballers
Motley Fool Money, Marketfoolery, and Motley Fool Answers (Part of the same network)
The Starters (Basketball)
Movie BS With Bayer and Snider
Filmspotting: SVU

One could say I'm a podcast junkie. It's much better than terrestrial radio, that's for sure.

I listened to the Jonah Keri podcast today and liked it. I hope he gets some good athletes on.

I could go with a little less swearing. Don't really have an opinion on Hardwick but I followed Keri over from his own and Grantland and I liked the swear free style. I don't mind a little swearing but Hardwick was swearing every other word. He had great advice, terrible volcabulary.

I listen to podcasts all the time! :-)

I listen to a ton of Kevin Smith podcasts. Hollywood Babble-On is my favorite, closely followed by Fat Man on Batman. I've started the Talk Salad one about Fraiser. I selectively listen to Smodcast (I only like it when it's funny, not when they're talking about their past or hockey or what have you).

I'm also obsessed with The Force Cast. Force Cast, Echo Base, Outer Rim, Jedi Journals.... they also do podcasts for Flash, Arrow, and Shield/Carter.

Finally, I listen to Judge John Hodgman.

Right now,
Script Notes
Kevin Polak's Chat Show
The Android Central podcast
Black List Table Reads
Nerdist Writer's Panel
Serial
How Did This Get Made
Stuff You Missed in History Class

Until their recent ends:
The Dead Author's Podcast
The Thrilling Adventure Hour

About half of the ones I listen to are comedy podcasts.
Comedy Bang! Bang!
Hollywood Handbook
How Did This Get Made
Judge John Hodgman
Literary Treks
Spontaneanation
Star Talk
Stuff They Don't Want You To Know
Stuff You Missed In History Class
Stuff You Should Know
Welcome to Night Vale
WOMP It Up!

I also listened to Thrilling Adventure Hour until it ended, but I'm still subscribed because they said they'll release some more stuff occasionally.

I used to listen to Nerdist and WTF but I got tired of the interview style shows.

Podcasts are all that I listen to in my car now. I've had my fill of our local talk-radio stations, which seem to feature the same 10 people complaining about the exact same stuff that they have been complaining about for the past 40 years.

My current favorites include Pod Stallions, Fantasmo After Dark, Tell Em Steve Dave and Off The Hook. Podcasting is something that I wish I could do, if only I had something interesting to talk about.

Judge John Hodgman is my favorite but I also listen to:

This American Life
Reply All
The Retroist
The Purple Stuff Podcast

Just started Jordan Jesse Go - I like it but I'm not 100% on board.

I enjoyed the Cracked Podcast but I think I'm going to bail out. It's just gotten too repetitive and preachy.

My main podcasts right now are:
The Joe Rogan Experience
The Duncan Trussell Family Hour
Harmontown
The Smartest Man in the World
SModcast

Do you only listen to Smodcast from Kevin Smith? That's actually my least favorite of his that I listen to.

I used to listen to Smodcast, but I stopped when Kev began regularly sharing personal details about getting stoned and having sex with his wife. TMI, he should stick to talking about Batman and whatever new project he's doing, and leave the other stuff behind closed doors where it belongs.

That's why I love Hollywood Babble-on and Fatman on Batman it's all discussing tv/movies/etc. Smodcast is about 50% funny, 50% completely uninteresting side quests about hockey and High Lands and Kevin's childhood.

I'll check out Fatman on Batman and Hollywood Babble on every now and then, but I usually just stick to hearing his stoned antics on SModcast.

Then you shouldn't bother with HBO and FoB because he just does the same things. There are other subjects that act as filters, but Kevin Smith is Kevin Smith and nothing filters his stoner/dick humor completely (if at all.).

He definitely is a one note joke that gets tiresome, but I still enjoy it. One thing I really appreciate about him is that he doesn't take a crap on everything and says positive things. I get so sick of people declaring everything is horrible. Why not focus on the positive? If you don't like it, don't watch it.

I really like Babble-On and Fatman because of his co-hosts, Ralph Garman and Marc Bernardin. They're the interesting ones. Kev works best as a two hander.
