This poll may have already been done a few times, but what the heck, you can never vote for Star Trek II too many times. 
"The Search for Spock" is my personal favorite.

I like it just slightly more than The Wrath of Khan.

I love all of the first three films pretty equally (maybe even the 4th, though it tends to stand alone in my mind) and it is hard to choose...
That said, I have to say I am a TMP man. It has stood the test of time with me. It was TSFS in the theater that first brought me into the fold, and then TWOK enchanted me when I first saw it premiere on ABC. (Robin Curtis was my first Saavik!

I think I was grounded when TWOK first showed on TV, but my parents were gracious enough to temporarily lift the sanctions placed upon me so that I could watch and tape it.

The Wrath of Khan is by far and away my favorite. Character development, surprises, great space battes, "Khaaaaaaaan!" - it has it all!
