Favorite 'Little' Moments Of ENTERPRISE...

In general, any moment where they matched up an interior shot with an exterior feature on the ship (windows, hull angles, shuttle pod bay size, phaser ports, etc.). :techman: If only on TOS...:brickwall:

"Fight or Flight", where the torpedo gets deflected and starts heading back toward the ship. Elsewhere it might have been this big dramatic moment where shields are offline, evasive maneuvers are useless and the torpedo destruct doesn't work. Here it's just Archer's little reminder, "Mr. Reed", and everyone watching Reed's embarrassment.

In Carbon Creek when Trip asked T'pol's age after hearing she had a great-grandmother in the 1950's and T'pol responds by saying how on Earth it's considered offensive to ask a woman her age.

I really like Trip's speech in Silent enemy about the astronauts taking great risks going to the moon first time and He and Malcolm's crew repair the Enterprise. Last night I was watching an Apollo 50th anniversary show where they interviewed the surviving astronauts they mentioned almost exactly what Trip said in Silent Enemy about Space travel being dangerous and risky and being worth it.When they were on the moon during their different Apollo missions.

First flight has alot of great moments with Archer, AG Robinson and Trip defying Starfleet and the Vulcans to prove Henry Archer's warp engine works and the second test flight proves them right. This is one of my favorite episodes from season one.

Some of my favorite little moments were archer centric 1) when he used a frickin rock to knock silik loopy after he came back to the 22nd century and he called him an "ugly b*****d". or when he used the grenade to kill Dolim (talk about dark).

Talas vs Richards in "Babel One", where he's not having any of her bullshit and they proceed to pummel each other. I love a competent security officer, a hot blue girl and dope fight scenes.

Then in 'United' when it's revealed right at the end of the teaser that the holoship has attacked the Rigellians using the appearance of Enterprise. There's something perverse about those guys lasts moments thinking Humans have turned on them.
In 'Future Tense' when Enterprise is stuck between the Tholians and Suliban. At one point they try to escape to warp but the Tholians just zap them and put an end to that.

I've always loved the very end of Storm Front Part 2 (the last 30 seconds in this clip):

The music in the scene is terrific and the sight of the fleet coming to meet Enterprise and escort her home is quite moving.

T'Pol is the single finest Vulcan ever played. She was too sexy for the show.

But my all time stupid silly fav is:

The dumbest Trek thing EVER done. I felt sorry for Ms Park

Great character moment...

When Hoshi stands her ground against the Minister in "TERRA PRIME".

Wonderful growth from her start of the series.

When Archer gave T'Pol a big hug at the end of "These are the Voyages", I couldn't help but get a bit emotional.

After working side by side for all those years (and as a viewer watching for 4 seasons), it was great that Archer and T'Pol weren't afraid to let their emotions show and to express their appreciation for one another. It was probably my favorite moment of the finale.

And just a moment before that, T'Pol told Archer that he "look very heroic". And that prompted Archer to turn around and give T'Pol that hug.

And moments before that, T'Pol, on her own accord, rushed up to Archer to tidy him up by adjusting his collar, like a wife would do for her husband. That was a cute scene. Btw, I felt that T'Pol and Archer would have made a better couple than T'Pol and Tucker.

-----

There is another T'Pol/Archer scene that is memorable for me. T'Pol telling Archer, "I don't want you to die", after Archer had decided that he himself would pilot the suicide mission to destroy the doomsday weapon in "Azati Prime".

Later on, after Archer gave his goodbye speech and left on his mission, T'Pol went into the ready room and shed some tears. I thought T'Pol and Archer should have wound up being together instead of her and Tucker.

Speaking of hugs, I thought it was cool when Hoshi rushed up to Archer and hugged him on the bridge in "Storm Front".

Remember the entire crew of the Enterprise thought Archer didn't survive the final battle against the Xindi at the end of season 3. They were shocked when they found out that he did indeed survived.

Reed gave a weak "Welcome home" to the captain. No handshake, no pat on the back, definitely no hug especially not from Reed, no nothing of the kind. T'Pol seemed like she might have wanted to hug the captain, but nope. I suppose crewmen have to keep professional appearance, but showing some warmth shouldn't have been a problem under those circumstances.

I believe Hoshi was the only one who greeted Archer with some kind of public affection. I was actually surprised to see anyone greet Archer like that, so I thought it was cool that Hoshi did that.

Generally, I think Star Trek characters from all shows are a bit too aloof.
