There's no such thing as absolutes. What are your favorite episodes from Star Trek series that aren't your favorite? I flat-out couldn't get into ENT at all. Not because it was a prequel or didn't look exactly like TOS -- how much I like DSC (a whole lot to put it into an understatement) has sure put that argument permanently to rest -- but the characters, the stories, and the fact that I was just about done with the Berman Era by that point. I stopped watching the series after the first six episodes when it was on, caught a few during the fourth season, then binged the entire series one week in 2010. The Temporal War did nothing for me. My opinion of the Temporal War is the same as those who don't like the Klingon War in DSC. I'm not a fan of Xindi either -- I'm going to lie, I think they're ridiculous, interesting looking but ridiculous -- but I'd take them over the Temporal War and the Suliban. I wasn't interested in seeing the 22nd Century or the founding the Federation either. Whereas, I was probably more pre-disposed to like DSC because the 23rd Century was my favorite anyway and virtually every show I've gotten into in the past 10 years has been heavily serialized. All that having been said, during my binge of Enterprise these episodes stood out to me. I really liked them. I'm relying off faded memory because it's been seven years: S1 Fight or Flight Civilization Silent Enemy Two Days and Two Nights S2 Singularity Judgment Cogenitor Regeneration S3 Anomaly Rajiin Strategem There's some stuff later on in S3 too but it's blurred together, so I can't remember which episodes they're from. S4 Home The Forge, The Awakening, Kir'Shara The Aenar In a Mirror Darkly Demons, Terra Prime That's a pretty good portion of S4 actually. So, if I can admit those, you can admit some favorite episodes of Star Trek series you don't particularly care for overall. Who else is brave enough to step up to that plate and admit that you don't completely "hate" a specific Star Trek series? It won't kill you. Or at least that's what they say. I guess you won't find out for sure unless you try...
There's a lot of things I love about Voyager, but overall it's probably my least favorite series. In terms of favorite episodes from Voyager though: Season 1: Eye of the Needle Caretaker State of Flux Jetrel Faces Season 2: Projections Maneuvers The Resistance Death Wish The Thaw Season 3: Flashback Futures End 1 and 2 Fair Trade Before and After Scorpion I Season 4: Scorpion 2 Year of Hell 1 and 2 Prey Message in a Bottle Living Witness Season 5: Timeless Counterpoint Dark Frontier Someone to Watch Over Me 11:59 Season 6: Barge of the Dead Riddles One Small Step Memorial Blink of an Eye Season 7: Drive Flesh and Blood Shattard Workforce Lineage
ENT is also my least favourite series. Without looking at the lists above, my faves would be: Season 1 Dear Doctor, Shadows of P'Jem, Shockwave Season 2 Carbon Creek, Vanishing Point, Future Tense Season 3 I honestly can't think of a single standout episode ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Season 4 Cold Station 12, The Forge, In a Mirror Darkly.
I'm not a big fan of The Next Generation, although it has quite a few stone-cold classic episodes. Q Who Yesterday's Enterprise Best of Both Worlds Parallels Future Imperfect Frame of Mind All Good Things Not crazy about DS9 either, but I loved "Way of the Warrior"
TNG can be brilliant, reaching incredible heights of storytelling, excitement, and philosophical insight. But it can also be plodding and sanctimonious. That said, it has some absolutely stunning episodes: The Defector (my favorite TNG episode) Darmok The Measure of a Man Family I, Borg Yesterday's Enterprise Chain of Command Lower Decks Every episode about Worf's political/familial struggles with the Klingon Empire, in particular Redemption
DS9 isn't my absolute least favorite (that honor goes to Voyager), but I do like the DS9 episode Far Beyond the Stars.
