Farve: Really done?

Well, sound like Farve may not be retiring after all. This article was on Yahoo sports:

Thoughts? If true, I'm personally very surprised. After his press conference, I was sure that he was done for good.

I'd be really surprised if he came back, but I suppose anything is possible in the right situation and for the right money.

Not surprised in the least. How could you be? The guy has hemmed and hawed back and forth for a few years now. Always leaving the Pack hanging as to what he might do and when. Just because he said he was retiring and shed a few tears...that all means nothing if he changes his mind in a week or two. It's happened before with so many other athletes in the past (and bands playing "farewell tours"). Why should Favre suddently be any different? Especially when he's been the king of "can't make up his mind" in the last few years.

That works for me. Seriously, I cannot fathom the idea of him returning for another team. I also don't think he'd return this season after publicly announcing retirement. Next season? Maybe (doubtful, considering this is the NFL and it's hard to come back after time off, especially with his age), but certainly not this year.
