Fantastic Contraption - Physics Game

Wasn't really sure where this should go since it's a video game that appeals to those with a passion for tinkering, but I settled on here and I guess if it needs to be moved that's okay with me.

Fantastic Contraption is an Online Physics Game that I've been playing since yesterday evening.

The Object is to move the "Red" Item via "Contraption" of your own creation through the board to the "Goal Zone"

Also, you can save your Creative Contraptions and share them with others.

Might not be for everyone, but at least worth a look.

That URL linked me to a Player Created Level I can't access without buying the full version. Weird.

Update: I played around with it some more and finally got to see your Mars Rover. I think the game has some issues with linking player creations if you're already logged into the game.

Anyways, Glad some people here liked it. I was having trouble around level 15 and then I got on youtube looking for some hints. Lets just say, that while the pieces you have are fairly simple... the Creations you can make are anything but.

I'll see if I can post some of the better ones. Once you see them, you'll really get an idea for what can be done.

Yeah, I eventually got there, but I was already logged in to the game in another tab the first time I tried to open it. I figure that caused the problem.

Ah, ok, you can get the "Full Version" for 10 dollars. The basic game is still free though.

If this level proves anything, it's that adding a tread to a robot is far easier than making it "walk". Also, keep the center of gravity forward....

Okay, I'm really proud of this one. Everyone else I saw do this level "Awash" was using a Cow-Plow, after no luck with a variant of my own, I tried out this bad boy. Worked like a charm.

I saw a YouTube video of someone "shooting" the target into the goal in Big Ball, but that doesn't actually work in any configuration I've tried. The things just don't rotate fast enough.
