Fans in the States... SG1 on "This TV"

I noticed something in the TV lisings for my area tonight.

A local channel has as a sub-channel "This TV", which normally runs movies and some REALLY old TV shows.

Thing is, I read that MGM was behind the channel, and tonight, what do the listings say but that from 9-11 they'll run two early episodes of SG1.

Next week, same thing, two more episodes. Don't know if they're running in order or not, but the titles sounded very early (don't have my list right here), and one of the four I found listed was "The Nox".

If you have THIS TV as a subchannel in your area, it looks like Sunday nights are gonna be STARGATE nights, at least for now.

As far as I could tell they're showing them in order. It's great news really there aren't too many shows from that era that are still in syndication.

Yes, MGM co-owns 'this tv' along with a broadcast group that owns several tv stations. This was created to help stations across the country by providing programming for their digital sub channels. The stations can air as much of the programming as they want, and can timeshift shows and movies to suit their schedules' needs. SG1 repeats began the second week of September, airing 2 back to back Sundays @9pmEST, and they are running in order so far. Low budget sci fi movies have been paired with it as a lead in at 7pmEST...the little seen theatrical 'Android' was on a few weeks ago. Next Sunday..Tentacles. Shelley Winters! Bo Hopkins! Giant octopus! Oh my. :p

Two things-

1) Next week they're running "The Nox", which should have run two weeks ago, if I'm figuring right. (Both tv.com and Gateworld list it as episode 1.07, and 1.11 and 1.12 ran tonight.) They're not quite in order.

2) "This TV" is a network of sorts. This is not a case of SG1 running in syndication. It's running on a network, just as it does when it airs on SyFy.
