I imagine most everyone here has their own copies of Star Trek on DVD. Whether you do or not, if you ever feel yourself in the mood to watch an episode, perhaps on the fly to check something, you can do it on-line (save yourself having to locate and load a DVD).
The FanCast website has all of the original Star Trek episodes available on demand. They appear to be remastered versions (with original special effects). There are some ads embedded in the video at certain points, but they are brief (one long one to start, then a couple short ones scattered about). You can fast forward and freeze frame. Quality is pretty good. I found the streaming decent.
If anyone here knows of other on-line sources, please post. Maybe we can capture most of them here. It's always good to have alternatives.
