Thanks for the headline. Although this story takes place in the star trek universe and does tie up some loose ends of starmada it's not a continuation. It's not really Star Trek as we know it. it doesn't involve Starfleet and you won't see any of Kirk's crew in this. It doesn't even take place in federation space. This is why I left Star Trek out of the title.

It does have a connection with an ancient species in Star Trek though.
 
After taking a look at Origin, I can sat it's definitely set in the Star Trek "universe" and I recommend that the folks who enjoyed the Armada series should go here to check this out.

Next week, I'll add this entry to the new list, but for now:

Yeah, I also watched it before concluding it was within my definition of a Star Trek Fan Film. I did get the name right on my Headline, but wrong on Solarbaby's page, so it's now simply "Origins" in both places, which is good, because there is a live action series in the works called "Star Trek: Origins." Of course, only about 1/3 of these ever produce a film, so we'll see what happens there.
