Today I finally caught up with the recent Hulk storyline, Fall of the Hulks and World War Hulks.
First off, huge revelation. The identity of Red Hulk! Finally! AND I WAS RIGHT!!! Ever since the first arc I guess it was either him or Glen Talbot and I was right by god! Sweet.
I'm not crazy about this storyline. It's just a little silly, but I've never thought highly of the Leader or MODOK. They're just... ridiculous. So I haven't been as excited as the initial mystery of Red Hulk. Also, McGuinness' art just doesn't look as snazzy as the earlier issues for some reason.
And this bit about all the Marvel Heroes turning into Hulk versions of themselves? It's just... really over the top. Not to mention the two part mini series of "Hulkpool" traveling around history. They really need to stop making so many Deadpool comics, much as I love the main series
The only surprise for me was who Red She Hulk was. Also I thought Talbot was alive, so that he wasn't was surprising.
Plus, this major event (army of Hulks destroy DC! All heroes become Hulks!) is not being reflected in any other comics, so it really feels like a made up story that's not part of continuity. If I don't get 50 tie in issues I feel like it doesn't count dammit
