This week we have
Gotham
Blindspot (see if this can live up to the amount of marketing push they're giving it)
Scream Queens
Rosewood (never know...)
Heroes Reborn
The Player (it's got Wesley Snipes, why not?)

Doctor Who started last Saturday, I wasn't nuts about the episode but good to have it back

Going to give Flash and Arrow another shot when they come back. I stopped watching both early on but am curious to try them again.

Looking forward to Supergirl and Ash vs Evil Dead come October.

From the other thread.

Madam Secretary
Gotham
Supergirl
The Flash
Arrow
The 100 (2016) + Legends Of Tomorrow (2016)
The Vampire Diaries
The Big Bang Theory
The Originals
Reign
Grimm

Curious about Minority Report

I want to be excited for iZombie & Sleepy Hollow but no.

I forgot Mom.

I mostly watch Sports but in terms of TV shows:

The Flash
South Park
Doctor Who
Maybe Supergirl
Maybe Blindspot

And then next year we have the return of Orphan Black, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Orange is the New Black but those seem so distant.

Oh right. I forgot:

Gotham, Fox, 8 p.m. Mondays
Minority Report, Fox, 9 p.m. Mondays (9/21)
Reign, CW, 9 p.m. Thursdays
Criminal Minds, CBS, 9 p.m. Wednesdays

I need to reprogram my DVR!

I have to admit, there's not much in the way of new shows that has piqued my interest. I'll check out Supergirl (more because I pretty much love everything Calista Flockhart has ever touched). And probably The Muppets, as it's getting good reviews. I'm recording Scream Queens and The Player, but I suspect I'll bore of each quickly.

For returning shows, I think I'm most excited for Madam Secretary. I still can't believe I love this show as much as I do. Total left field obsession last year. It's so well written and acted though. The Flash surprised me last year too, so I'm looking forward to it's return. And Arrow has been good, but I'm starting to wonder if it's run its course. We'll see.

Gotham was the biggest disappointment for me last year. I sooooooo wanted to love that show, but I soooooo couldn't muster any excitement for it. The guy playing Gordon is dull and dimensionless. I gave up about 8 episodes in.

In the interest of my free time, I'm considering dropping The Blacklist (outstanding first season, but has just gotten so convoluted since) and The Voice (starting to get stale).

Sunday
The Walking Dead
South Park
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
The Last Man on Earth
Homeland
The Affair

Monday
Blindspot
The Big Bang Theory
Minority Report (Never mind, terrible)

NCIS
NCIS: New Orleans

Wednesday
Law & Order: SVU
Criminal Minds
Modern Family
American Horror Story: Hotel

Thursday
Bones

Friday

Monday:
Big Bang Theory
Castle

Tuesday:

Friday:

Saturday:

Sunday:

I do watch a lot of sports, cooking shows, and home improvement shows which are all over the place.

Not many shows in my Autum schedule some I'll return to others I'll give a shot.

The Flash (Sky1 13-10-15 20:00 TBC)
Gotham
Supergirl
The Muppets
NCIS (Though I suspect that'll be Jan 2016 before it airs on this side of the pond)
Heroes Reborn.

Pretty much everything I'm looking forward too isn't on networks and runs in short seasons. Fargo, Game of Thrones, etc.

I'll check out Heroes Reborn, I'll check out that over promoted show about the tattooed girl. I'll still be following Survivor and Amazing Race and probably Brooklyn Nine Nine and South Park. Or anything that gets really good word of mouth I'll catch up on midseason.

I don't make a habit of specifically watching shows when they air. I DVR everything and watch it when I can get to it. Usually, it's the same night, but often I'll rack four or five episodes of something up before I get to it.

So from highest to lowest priority:

Arrow/Flash
NCIS
Grey's
Blacklist
Gotham
Madam Secretary
NCIS: NO
Bones
Shield/Carter
Big Bang
Castle

I am going to watch Supergirl, but I haven't decided how much I like it yet.

I'm going to wait on The Muppets 'till I hear things. I don't want to be disappointed.

And I haven't decided on whether or not I'm going to bother with Heroes 2.

I also tend to binge watch shows.

I like watching shows when they air or the morning after just because sharing the week to week suspense with other people creates a fun communal narrative about the show that binge watching at will does not.

In addition to the usuals (Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds, SVU & How To Get Away With Murder), I'll be trying Quantico this year. I haven't had luck outside of Murder with new shows (see: Resurrection, Intelligence and Forever), so I'm hoping this one is good.

Minority Report had a pretty good premiere, though it felt a bit different from the movie it was based on. The premise is similar to Tom Cruise's film, but the focus is more on the precognitive siblings. Nice visuals, though the main characters need to be more fleshed out.

I'm surprised a couple of networks decided to do movie-based shows this season, the other one being Limitless.

It's probably going to take a few episodes for me to warm up to the show, but The Muppets didn't impress me so much. Kind of wish it were longer too, as a half hour seems short for this kind of thing.

I rather enjoyed it. Definitely has room for improvement, though. I will say, the more cynical tone took some getting used to for the Muppets, but by the end I'd warmed up to it. As usual, the human guest stars were the real highlights. Oh, and Fozzy of course!

I suffered through the first 30 minutes of Scream Queens and then deleted all future recordings. I'd delete it again if possible. Wow was it terrible. How does this dribble get on the air? Do others actually like it? It was like a whole collection of cliches wrapped up in the most over-used plot cliches ever. Zero originality. Reminds me why I never enjoyed Glee.

But that's the point! It's a comedy horror series based on the premise that it's going to be filled with clichés. I rather enjoyed it; it's one of the shows that you don't take seriously.
