Face-Off: Season Two

Anybody else watched the season premiere last night? I was pleased to see that last year's winner seems to be doing well--and working on THE HUNGER GAMES movie.

The "Oz"-themed makeups were fun, although I was less blown away by that "post-apocalyptic tribal" Wicked Witch than the judges were. I would have given best of show to the woman who did that cool Scarecrow all on her own.

I'll be curious to see how they tackle the waterproof makeups next week . . ..

I enjoyed it. Some real talent appears to be on board this year.

I agree, the gal's scarecrow was good, and I wish we'd seen the one the guy had sketched.

Minor spoilers for the second episode:


Last night's water challenge was fun. I would have given best of show to the lionfish makeup, but that iridescent effect on the other makeup did turn out nicely.

As for puting that "shark" in a three-piece suit, what were they thinking? I'm no make-up artist, but even I was scratching my head as to how they were going to make that work underwater. Guess what? It didn't!
