Ezri vs Ezri (mirror)

[Ezri II]

Have debated this since 1999 when the mirror Ezri was on that single episode. Thought it was interesting to see a aggressive Ezri (mirror) barking orders to Nog and Quark. It was also interesting that she also had an interesting sex life with what we could see and understand. True, our Ezri did not get that as her character to much deeper into the ending of the season.

Thought it would be odd to think this way. What would the two women talk about if they were on a shuttle or other ship alone with each other during a week of travel.

We talked about in a different tread what we would do if we could meet our mirror self. Question would be, what would they do.

Mirror Ezri would consider Ezri to be weak and pathetic. Given she is from the mirror universe and in the normal universe having a symbiont is a good thing, maybe in the MU it's a bad thing so she might have some bias based on that.

Ezri would have a whine about how bad mirror Ezri is and how she could never do/be like her. 30 seconds later mirror Ezri would shoot her and then be able to enjoy her shuttle ride in peace.

^ Possibly not. While mirror Ezri was a mercenary and less then pleasant she didn't seem to enjoy killing for the sake of killing. I doubt she would get on with normal Ezri or want much to do with her. Of course they would be interested in come universe comparisons in terms of family and friends and Ezri would be the one more likely to disguss at length about it. Mirror Ezri didn't seem that personable so she would be more into short, sharp explanations.

I doubt they would waltz around in their underwear having pillow fights and then decide they need to practice kissing...no matter how much some fanboys would want it.

Have thought they would have an uneasy relationship with each other. They could become friends but I feel someone would kill the other has the practical outcome.

I cannot see them in there underwear and want to practice kissing each other. Ezri Dax I feel is not the type of woman that wants to be with a woman. The mirror Ezri in my judgment only became a lover to the mirror kira because it made a better way for her to stay alive. With my judgment, the mirror Ezri only has sex with someone only and only if they have power. With the mirror Kira, she was not going to let her gender get in the way with having sex with her own gender. The mirror Kira sex was enjoyment and a way to break someone.

True, I just do not see both Ezri's want to have a sexural relationship with each other. On the other hand, if the mirror Ezri felt that Ezri Dax had more power and with being a joined trill. I would not rule out the mirror Ezri would kill Ezri Dax for her title and rank with it to become the joined trill.

Problem is, we already had that problem with Kira and the mirror Kira. The reason why they did not, as the show was not on cable. With both Ezri's, I just do not see it with their character that they would do that to each other.

Sure, there would be problems with the women. The fact that the mirror Ezri has been with the mirror Kira with evidence of a kiss and nothing more to explain their relationship. There is only and I say repeating this only evidence they were in a deep lesbian relationship. There is zero evidence that Ezri Dax has or ever was in a lesbian relationship with any woman.

Repeating, there is only a weak argument the two women would be lesbians. Do not see with the character development to support this type of relationship with each other. There is more clear evidence the two women would fight to the death more then being the other.

If there was violence, unsure who would win the fight. They are equal to each other and see nothing to prove the other is stronger then the other.

Ezri II, we do have to remember at the end of mirror universe episode where we see muEzri, she is 'debriefed' by muLeeta. So, even though it does support the guy fantasy, it shows that muEzri did have lesbian relationships with those in the mirror universe.

However, if muEzri were to meet her counterpart, muEzri not only meets that said counterpart, but others as well...i.e. a universe that is different from her own, a universe that has different types of people: Selfish, 'down to Earth' (or 'down to Andoria' depending on where they're from), violent, sweet, kind, etc...

Especially on DS9, where you have those many varying types of individuals.

muEzri may take awhile feeling that everyone wants something from her, or is trying to be nice in order to get something from her. Too, she may figure her counterpart is weak, but may grow--slowly but surely--to accept her.

I think muEzri may find Kira interesting since she is different from her mu counterpart. Kira may be a mentor of such.

Mirror Ezri would win. She was meant to be a tough merc from a universe that favours violence. Normal Ezri was a counsellor that struggled to understand her physical limits due to the rushed joining with Dax, so while she might know some fancy stuff that doesn't mean she can pull it off (didn't we see her injure herself doing a dance move or something at one point?)

Plus Mirror Ezri is the "evil" Ezri and as the saying goes, "in the war between good and evil, evil always wins. Because we cheat." She'd fight dirty more readily then normal Ezri, so I'd back her if I were a gambling man.
