As for predictions as to where this is headed:

- Starfleet to the rescue ! (led by Captain Riker?!)
- Clancy arrests Picard
- Picard escapes on La Sirena - and in Season 2 they are on the run as fugitives
- Soong is Lore

I tend to skip most of the Ready Room episodes lately and head directly for the episode clip at the end. Could be they're looking at the analytics of how the episodes are being viewed on Facebook/Youtube/etc and realizing others are doing the same?

1. The 'golem' seemed to be a new body for Soong, not Picard.
2. "Starfleet to the rescue" is iffy at best.
3. Why would Clancy arrest Picard? He hasn't committed any crime.
4. Why would they be fugitives, unless they're being chased by the Tal Shiar? Picard has enough evidence to lift the synth ban, so it wouldn't be Starfleet who'd be after him.
5. Lore being Soong in disguise would be hella stupid.
